My Story
I began offering graphic and web design services in 2011 for small businesses from a variety of industries.
Over the years as online marketing became more and more competitive, I would see sites that, whilst very attractive and functional, just weren’t getting the desired results anymore.
The site owners were seemingly doing everything “right”—posting on social media, writing blog posts, and investing in advertising, but still struggled to convert clicks into clients.
It was clear that a more holistic approach was needed to help my clients achieve their sales goals.
Fast forward to when I discovered coaching
On top of the marketing challenges that were arising, I began struggling motivation-wise with some of my work. Not through any fault of my clients, but because we were a mismatch as I didn’t have clarity on the specific kind of clients I wanted to work with.
Like so many others in this situation, I began diving into marketing resources, self-help and personal development books, podcasts and whatever else I could get my hands on.
It didn’t take long to get hooked and eventually, I decided to take things even further by undergoing business and life coaching education. At the very least, I knew this would help me to gain clarity on what I wanted out of my business as well as enhance what I could offer to my clients.
What I discovered
My journey with business & life coaching
During my training, I was able to network with other coaches and discovered two important things. First, I got to be coached myself and experience first-hand the tremendous value it provides.
And secondly, the sad fact that so many talented coaches just couldn’t seem to get started or gain enough traction to maintain a successful business…
The Problem:
- When you're still juggling other work, finances, and commitments - time & money is often a huge roadblock; especially for those just starting out.
- Unless you're also a graphic designer; creating docs, printables and other tools needed to run a coaching practice can be time consuming, not to mention costly.
- Everyone knows now that if you're not online you don't exist. But, knowing where to start in building your first website and learning the tech stuff can be an overwhelming task.
